About RTI

The Right to Information Act, 2005 is a landmark legislation that empowers every citizen of India to seek information from
public authorities. The Act aims to promote transparency and accountability in the working of government organizations.

Under this Act, citizens have the right to request information from public authorities, who are required to respond within 30
days. The Udhamsingh Nagar Development Authority is committed to ensuring transparency in its functioning and welcomes
RTI applications from citizens.

How to File RTI Application

Simple steps to exercise your right to information

Prepare Your Application

Draft your RTI application clearly stating the information you seek. Include your name, address, and contact details.

Pay Application Fee

Pay ₹10 as application fee through cash, demand draft, or online payment (as applicable).

Submit Application

Submit your application to the Public Information Officer either in person, by post, or online.

Receive Information

Information will be provided within 30 days. If it concerns life or liberty, within 48 hours.

Appeal if Required

If not satisfied with the response, file an appeal with the First Appellate Authority within 30 days.
