The District Level Development Authority (DLDA), Udham Singh Nagar was established in 2017 with the objective of planning and developing all the urban areas within the district. Prior to this, smaller authorities like the Rudrapur, Kichha, Bajpur, and Kashipur Development Authorities existed, which were subsequently merged into the DLDA US Nagar on November 13, 2017.

​Tehsils Covered: The district includes Tehsils: Rudrapur, Kashipur, Khatima, Jaspur, Gadarpur, Kichha, Bajpur, and Sitarganj.
